OUR STORY
When my son William, moved from France to the United States as a student, it didn’t take long before his friends started calling him ‘Frenchie’. It was meant as a playful jab, but it stuck. And honestly? He wore it like a badge of honor.
Because Frenchie, ‘was’ French, and he was proud of it.
Growing up, crêpes weren’t a restaurant treat in our family, they were a way of life. Thin, golden, impossibly simple, and endlessly versatile. You’d find them at street markets on a Saturday morning, handed over in a paper cone, still warm. No fuss. No pretension. Just something delicious, made with care, shared with whoever happened to be standing nearby.
When our family decided to bring that experience to the streets of America, Frenchie’s Crêperie wasn’t just a business idea, it was a homecoming. A way to carry a piece of French food culture into every festival, market, and event we show up to.
